Terror Taj - Run Tia, Run!
For the first month we had Taj, Tia refused to even look in his direction.
Then the Ice Queen started to thaw (that puppy cuteness will melt the hardest heart!) and she started to play with him. That was it, Terror Taj was born and he hasn't stopped forcing her to play with him since!
Lucky for Tia (who didn't realise she was a dog until Taj came along), Taj gets to play with lots of other pups, so she gets a rest every now and then.

Hungry for Knowledge
Every good Border Collie knows that eating encyclopedias makes you even smarter than just reading them!

Taj the Bookworm
Taj is so smart because, as you can see, he reads encyclopedias. Ok, so its only a JUNIOR encylpopedia, but he is only a baby after all!

Border Collie Instinct
The intense Border Collie stare and crouch are such strong instincts, even at only 9 weeks of age.
These instincts are so strong and (along with the nipping) are the reason many Border Collies end up abandoned in rescue, simply because their owners do not understand and appropriately re-direct and correctly train their Border Collie. If you do not teach your Border Collie what is appropriate behaviour, his instincts will take control over him.
If you are considering adding a Border Collie to your family, please read some of the articles on http://www.dogsites.com.au to make sure you know what you are in for, because as wonderful as this breed is, they are certainly not for everyone!Posted by Michelle Wrighton Artist at 8:33 AM 0 comments

Give Us a Kiss!
This is Taj's big sister, Tia. She is a black Chinese Shar-Pei, and usually very difficult to photograph with all the wrinkles!
